The show appeals to “ordinary people” who don’t have the time or skills to take on dishes that millionaire chefs claim are easy. This is what the everyday Indian matriarch makes for her family... Or Italian housewife, or Polish, etc. etc. Real food, real people, really simple, just perhaps unfamiliar to you. We MAKE it familiar! Shooting takes place in actual home kitchens with real people leading the way as our host represents our “everywoman” viewer, learning along the way and ensuring the information is passed to the viewer effectively with the international variety and appeal of some of television’s most popular shows.
